Game Developer Harmonix changed the video game industry last year by releasing Rock Band, a popular game that uses not only a guitar, but drums and a microphone as well. The game has prompted other games to step their game up by including additional instruments, including Activision’s Guitar Hero World Tour and Konami’s Rock Revolution. The release of Sony’s next-gen gaming console, Playstation 3, has been pushed back to March 2007 in Europe, Russia, the Middle East, Africa and Australasia. The PS3 was previously scheduled to launch worldwide in November.
