What does Yahoo! India’s research and development center in Bangalore do? Listen to Pranesh Anthapur, the new chief operating officer discusses the broad roadmap for Yahoo’s India office and shares what it takes to merge companies.

Prior to relocating to Bangalore, Pranesh was the VP of HR and HR M&A in Yahoo’s Sunnyvale office. Pranesh joined Yahoo in 1999.

Pranesh’s roadmap for Yahoo! India is to build leadership and competence to scale Yahoo in India. He has been involved in setting up Yahoo’s India operations right from the start, when they began with only five people. (Yahoo now has about 1,000 people working in India.)
