Roger McNamee, is Founding Partner of Elevation Partners and a business partner of U2 rock star, Bono.   Around Silicon Valley, McNamee is known as an insightful dealmaker and the consummate power player, but after hours he plays in a rock band called Moon Alice.  His band plays upwards of 60 gigs a year to audiences as large as 20,000 people.  In Part 1 of a 2 part series, he lets his shaggy hair down and talks about the importance of striking a balance between his day job as a venture capitalist and his night life in a rock band.
