Li studied tumors and a way to monitor tumor marker genes in human cells. Vaintrob, a mathematician, evaluated ways to associate algebraic structures to topological spaces. Streich investigated carbon nanotubes and discovered properties that could make them useful as a supermaterial. PodTech’s Jason Lopez was at the award ceremony and produced this podcast.
