Heather Champ is one of our favorite photographers. Not only is she the community contact at Flickr, but she’s the co-founder of JPG Magazine. Here Thomas Hawk and I follow her around as she shows off how she makes unique images with Polaroid cameras. Neat stuff, although who knew we’d have an analog camera on Photowalking? Not me. Photowalking #2, Part III: Trouble in the Pumpkin Patch

Friday, November 3rd, 2006

Here’s the third and last segment of our walk with Thomas Hawk around a Half Moon Bay pumpkin patch. It starts out with us almost getting kicked out of the store for filming. Lots of fun. Later you meet David Alpert, salesguy from Podtech who was following us around, and see our first Nikon on the show (we’ll try to get some of his photos up so you can see the difference). Thomas also shows off his new MooCards toward the end of the video.

Thomas and I got lucky with the light and scenery and he made more than 500 images in a little more than an hour, about 60 of which are keepers (he wrote about the day on his blog). Follow along and please post links to your favorite pumpkin photos here.
