A little treat: my first girlfriend

While at the BlogHaus at CES 2008 I had a little surprise: my first girlfriend from high school showed up. I hadn’t seen her since 1983. She’s now director of marketing at Plantronics, and we have a fun chat about high school back in the 1980s with Fred Davis, the guy who helped start Wired Magazine, among other things. Fun conversation and a little personal too boot!

Meeting the user input visionary, Doug Engelbart

But here Doug Engelbart and Valerie Landau show off a new user-input invention they are working on: a glove that you can type and control the cursor with. Really great conversation with one of the true visionaries in our industry.
