We talk with Diana Cartwright, senior director of Seagate’s branded solutions group. Seagate generously sponsors the ScobleShow (no one else pays to get on here, so we really appreciate the ability to do what we’re doing) and I thought it would be good to find out what Seagate’s been up to. Here’s the latest on the new Free Agent disk drives (we’re now using them to build the ScobleShow).

    Hi Robert,
    You mentioned in the interview with Diana that there are good HD videocams in the $750 - $1500 range. I’ve caught some great moments using my little Canon Powershot in video mode, and now I’m thinking about getting a real video camera. I’m looking for compact, light, easy to use (auto setting should be fine in most circumstances), good battery life. Suggestions?
