Talking about Rich Internet Applications Apollo/CS3 style with Mike Downey
The hottest new thing on the Internet is Rich Internet Applications. These are like Web sites except they work offline and have a much richer user experience than is possible with HTML. Adobe is one of the companies that is leading the charge by giving RIA developers a new platform to build these kinds of applications on. Since Apollo is part of the CS3 suite (shipping today) we sit down with Mike Downey, senior product manager on Apollo. If you’re a Web designer or developer you’ll want to listen in on our conversation.

Hi, Robert -
Thanks for the interview! I had a good time talking with you about Apollo.
One small correction in your description above: Apollo isn’t actually a part of the CS3 suite. Apollo will be shipping later this year and when it does we’ll be providing extensions to Flash and Dreamweaver that will add Apollo publishing support.
Thanks for coming down to the offices last week. It was good getting to talk with you again.
- Mike Downey, Adobe

robert, your voice is almost in-audible, I had to keep twiddling the volume to hear your questions…

Robert, nice interview, but like jon said above, it’s hard to hear you. I’ve noticed the same issue with your other interviews I’ve listened to. Please consider getting yourself a separate mic.
