Great interview. Tim may not have done any direct marketing campaigns, but I think it was powerful for him to present at the Web2.0 show in April. He had a lot of influencers in one room. And, of course, individuals in our industry are perfect targets since we work way too much. Ironically, I was reminded of this book last night when I was reading Thomas Friedman’s “The World is Flat.” Friedman provides an excellent exploration of out-sourcing as well. In addition to the efficiencies Tim discusses, Mr. Friedman gives us some socio-economic context for making that choice.

Also, he claims to be a world champion fighter. Independent searches have so far found no records of him registering as a professional fighter or fights that he has won. Neither does he give any concrete proof on his website. http://www.bullshido.net/forums/showthread.php?t=54641
People are so hungry for heroes these days they will believe anything. If Tim is really who he says he is, he should clarify the above, this time with info from credible sources. Youtube videos are NOT a source of credible info.

Great interview. I like the highlight segments, as I don’t have too much time for the entire interviews. Can’t wait to read the book

Robert, you just had a major withdrawal from the credibility bank. I wish I could get those 8 minutes of my life back. What a bloody waste of time

Why does pg 284 of his book The 4-hour workweek make use of a hoax email chain letter?

His book reviews on amazon.com also don’t add up:
